I agree as well. There was a discussion on abortion on one of the best known blogs in Ohio. I posted a link to your post because I thought it was so well written. If you start to see some people from Ohio show up at your site, that’s probably why.

I couldn’t agree more.

There was a progressive or lapsed Catholic (often considered one & the same : ) who wrote a piece criticizing church officials for their vocal opposition on abortion but wondered why the same fervor wasn’t used in reforming the state of the health care here in the US.

Hi, yes I work at the local Children’s Hospital. And I work face to face with the patients and the families so I am considered high risk. When they finally decided to do the high risk people first, both in the public and in the health system, I was allowed to get mine. However, it was too late, I had already gotten it. There is much anger in our province as to how the roll-out of the vaccinations proceeded.

I still haven’t had an H1N1 shot and have no plans on it. I think its all hyped up. But I think the fears over the side effects of the vaccine are equally hyped up.

Six, I don’t believe it! I too have had my H1N1 shot (and the seasonal flu shot, and the stomach flu) so I think I’m good for the year. Major issue with the H1N1 shot was a very sore arm. Also very tired, but that may have been working all day for the first time after the stomach flu…Sorry to hear that your family has been ill, hope they are all feeling better now. We’ve missed you!
