Hi, yes I work at the local Children’s Hospital. And I work face to face with the patients and the families so I am considered high risk. When they finally decided to do the high risk people first, both in the public and in the health system, I was allowed to get mine. However, it was too late, I had already gotten it. There is much anger in our province as to how the roll-out of the vaccinations proceeded.

I still haven’t had an H1N1 shot and have no plans on it. I think its all hyped up. But I think the fears over the side effects of the vaccine are equally hyped up.

Six, I don’t believe it! I too have had my H1N1 shot (and the seasonal flu shot, and the stomach flu) so I think I’m good for the year. Major issue with the H1N1 shot was a very sore arm. Also very tired, but that may have been working all day for the first time after the stomach flu…Sorry to hear that your family has been ill, hope they are all feeling better now. We’ve missed you!

That made me chuckle! Some guys really don’t have any idea! Saying that, I remember a couple of first dates where I chose to go to the cinema with said chap because I thought at least that meant I didn’t need to actually speak to him for too long (in my mind, that is the only reason to choose a film for a first or early date!).
I also have always quite liked going to the pictures on my own..

I work as a Patient Rep in a hospital emergency room and our docs are not even swabbing to test for H1N1 because the CDC no longer recommends it unless the patient dies! They are also treating it the same as they would the normal seasonal flu. I have to wear a mask if I go in the room of a patient with flu symptoms, but it isn’t mandated! Too bad you’re having to choose like that.

I missed this until now. I love Henry Rollins! Does he still have a show on IFC or Sundance? He’s portraying a white supremacist on FX’s Sons of Anarchy, so I’m getting to see him even if he’s playing a top toer sicko!

Howdy! I’m so excited to have found your wonderful blog.
I actually don’t know where I will be next semester. Our applications where just turned in and we will find out in a few weeks. We have no choice in this one, so it really is up in the air.
